Flashtool version not matching due to the change in smartwatch mtk version(chipset version). This means your smart have not mtk 6260. Its 6261 or some other.
Try exactly this flashtool, hope it works.

I shared this information because i also searched for 1 whole day straight and then finally found the solution. Their is no one telling the exact solution to this problem as this problem is getting common among DZ09 users. Even i read many of the websites are saying that "Sorry, you can't do anything if you got this problem". Anyway, i didn't want that someone else go through this also.

ReplyIf you was also getting error previously of S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005). Then you also have mtk6261 or mtk6260a. Both are not original are are somehow same. Try all roms one by one from the given folder. Hope someone will work.

Yes, its just the wrong firmware. Just try putting any other firmware.

Doesn't sounds like a firmware issue. Maybe its hardware fault.

I tried to make a backup of the Firmware before flashing but somehow it didn't save.. And now though The device looks normal, the Digitizer is inverted.. Every button is though labeled properly but to press "Back" or any other button i press the opposite side of the screen to get it to work.. Can anyone share any light on this?
It seems to be a Touch Screen Driver issue...
I like the watch but like a moron I had to see if I could update the freaking Firmware and I'm stuck with an inverted Digitizer now..

The backup will not work. I had tried all backups. The given link above contains alot of firmware. A few of them might work on your device.

I think it has something to do with your hardware, not firmware. Anyway, if you want to update the firmware and you already have factory default firmware in your watch, then i suggest you NOT to update it.

ReplyI have a strange DZO9 that I can not flash with the original mtk flash tool, this dz09 has facebook, whatsapp and twitted but lacks so many settings and even backgrounds, also the pedometer is shown as an icon and reads "pedo"! on screen, I want to flash this thing but nothing has worked for me....

Dz09 smart watch with MTK60D software version, the older MTK flash tool with the MTK all in one file works for this watch, not found any firmware still that is compatible, so far I have seen inverted colours, no touch capability, correct colours with bar at bottom, scrambled bar at bottom with calibration off, inverted and upside down screen touch, still going to try other firmwares fo rthis watch -trying to get the scrambled bar off the screen as now it is showing up on every firmware? any ides? same problems anyone with a bar of scrambled pixels on bottom of screen that even shows when charging! ???
